Doctor Who and Related Fandoms Festivities Exchange

Slightly later than intended, due to illness, but thank you to everyone who created, kudosed or commented on this exchange. There are so many great things in the collection.

The deadline has passed. Anyone who hasn't posted their assignment, asked for an extension or defaulted themselves has been defaulted. If you think that's an error on my part, please get in touch.

You have just under one week to post, ask for an extension, or default. Here are the details to post or default (scroll down to the posting header). You can edit your work after you post it, but it should be complete and something you're happy for your recipient to see, in case anything happens between posting and reveals.

If anyone has a platform where they have followers who might be interested but aren't following this comm on Dreamwidth or Tumblr it would be great if you could help advertise them.

Assignments have gone out. There are two initial pinch hits, which I will put in another post.

If you have signed up you should have received an email with your assignment. If you haven't, then you can go to the collection and click on the "My Assignments" button. Or you can go to your AO3 account page, click on My Assignments, then go to Doctor Who and Related Fandoms Festivities Exchange 2025, which will be at the bottom above any pinch hits you've taken.

You can write/draw anything that your recipient requested, whether you offered it or not. You only need to write one character/relationship in the fandom they requested (but can include more if you want). If you find your assignment has nothing you offered it means something has gone wrong somewhere. Email me at tardisfestivities@gmail.com and I will fix it.

The collection will open for posting later today.

It's a good idea to check your offers against the requests and make sure there's at least one person you can write for. If there isn't anyone you can write for when sign ups close you'll need to update your offers or delete your sign up.

Sign ups are open! (Slightly later than planned - it's been one of those days) Go here to sign up.

They will be open until Sunday 28th September at 12pm UTC (that is early in the morning America).

You can see everyone's requests in the Requests Summary or on the AO3 Auto App site (if it hasn't been scraped for a while you may need to press the 'Re-scrape' button).

You can see which fandoms have been requested and offered in the Signup Summary once there are five sign ups and it has been (re-)generated.

You must include at least 1 request and 1 offer (to a maximum of 10), with at last 1 character (to a maximum of 20) and select whether you want art and/or fic for each request and offer.

You can edit your sign up any time before sign ups close by going to the AO3 collection, clicking on the "My Sign-up" link and then the "Edit Sign-up" button.

The Doctor Who and Related Fandoms Festivities Exchange is back for another year! Dates are below. It's starting a week earlier this year, just because it fits better into my plans. Otherwise there are no changes from last year.

Note that all of the timings are around Sunday lunchtime British time, which is effectively Saturday night in America.
