Thank you to everyone who created, kudosed or commented on this exchange. There are so many great things in the collection.

Is there anything else you'd like to give feedback on to make this better next year? You don't have to have taken part to offer feedback.

This would be a 48 hours until the deadline warning post. Except due to a few different things I won't be around to check at the deadline. So everyone gets a 13 hours (maybe more) extension. The new deadline is now when I get up and check on Sunday morning, which will be 8am UTC at the earliest.

In summary, you have until 8am UTC (maybe later, but don't count on it) on Sunday 17th November to post, ask for an extension, or default.

I've updated the deadline on the AO3 collection page, where you can see it in your timezone. And here is an updated countdown.

You have one week (almost exactly to the minute) to post, ask for an extension, or default. Here are the details to post or default (scroll down to the posting header). You can edit your work after you post it, but it should be complete and something you're happy for your recipient to see, in case anything happens between posting and reveals.

Assignments have gone out. There is one initial pinch hit, which I will put in another post.

If you have signed up you should have received an email with your assignment. If you haven't, then you can go to the collection and click on the "My Assignments" button. Or you can go to your AO3 account page, click on My Assignments, then go to Doctor Who and Related Fandoms Festivities Exchange 2024, which will be at the bottom above any pinch hits you've taken.

You can write/draw anything that your recipient requested, whether you offered it or not. You only need to write one character/relationship in the fandom they requested (but can include more if you want). If you find your assignment has nothing you offered it means something has gone wrong somewhere. Email me at tardisfestivities@gmail.com and I will fix it.

The collection is not yet open for posting. I will post here when it is.

I closed sign ups, then when I ran matching it kept finding someone with no one to create for and someone with no creator. But they were different people each time, so it is a solvable problem without anyone needing to add offers.

However, it means I need to look at it to work out (some of) the assignments by hand (at least a bit). But I am too tired to do it now. So I've opened sign ups until I get up in the morning (around 7am UTC, ie 12 hours after the sign up deadline), as it's not going to make the situation any worse if anyone signs up between now and then.

There's no need for anyone to worry: you will all have an assignment tomorrow, there's no need to adjust your sign up. There is someone you can all create for, it's just that the numbers aren't working quite right for AO3's matching script to do it all on its own.

They will be open until Saturday 5th October at 7pm UTC (that is the middle of day on Saturday in America).

You can see everyone's requests in the Requests Summary or on the AO3 Auto App site (if it hasn't been scraped for a while you may need to press the 'Re-scrape' button).

You can see which fandoms have been requested and offered in the Signup Summary once there are five sign ups and it has been (re-)generated.

You must include at least 1 request and 1 offer (to a maximum of 10), with at last 1 character (to a maximum of 20) and select whether you want art and/or fic for each request and offer.

You can edit your sign up any time before sign ups close by going to the AO3 collection, clicking on the "My Sign-up" link and then the "Edit Sign-up" button.
